Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has shared his sympathy for Thomas Tuchel following the manager’s sacking.
Chelsea parted ways with the German manager following the club’s 1 – 0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the first Champions League group stage game.
Following the news, Rodgers, who started his coaching career as a Chelsea manager, admitted it was “disappointing” to see Tuchel leaving the Premier League side.
“He’s had a successful 18 months. Nine months ago they were the world’s best team. Football moves quickly, I’m not privy to what goes on behind the scenes but it is disappointing. Always disappointing when a manager loses his job,” the Foxes’ manager said, via HITC.
