Arsenal and Manchester United, are reportedly closely monitoring the performances of Brazilian prodigy Marcos Leonardo at the highly competitive under-20 World Cup.

The 20-year-old striker from Santos has consistently impressed throughout the tournament, catching the eye of numerous European clubs in the process. As per insiders, Arsenal and Manchester United have emerged as frontrunners in the pursuit of this gifted young forward, with scouts from both clubs closely scrutinizing his performances.

While no concrete offers have been made at this stage, it is believed that both English clubs are seriously considering making a move for Leonardo once the tournament concludes. With the transfer window looming, these potential suitors will likely look to capitalize on his burgeoning talent and secure his services for the forthcoming season.

For Arsenal, the addition of Marcos Leonardo would provide much-needed depth to their attacking ranks. As it stands, Gabriel Jesus remains the only reliable striker at the club, and the Gunners will be keen to bolster their options, particularly in light of their upcoming Champions League campaign. Leonardo’s versatility and potential to develop under the guidance of Jesus could prove to be a valuable asset for the North London side.

Manchester United, on the other hand, have faced concerns over their overreliance on Marcus Rashford throughout the season. The acquisition of another striker has become a priority for the Red Devils, and Leonardo’s skill set and promise make him an enticing target for the club. With his raw talent, if he can swiftly adapt to the demands of English football, the Brazilian could provide much-needed competition and support to Rashford in leading United’s attacking line.

While it is unlikely that Marcos Leonardo would command an immediate starting role at either club, his immense potential and ability make him an exciting prospect. With the right guidance and development, the young Brazilian has the capacity to emerge as a vital first-team contributor for both Arsenal and Manchester United.
