Shooting guard Bradley Beal’s new contract with the Washington Wizards includes a no-change ban, ESPN reports. Beal is the only current NBA player with such a point in his agreement and the 10th in league history.
Bradley Beal has agreed to Washington’s offer of a five-year contract worth a total of $251 million. It is worth noting that Bradley has played for the Wizards since the beginning of his NBA career. He was selected in the 2012 draft as the third overall pick.
The 29-year-old played in only 40 games for Washington last season but finished the season with 23.2 points per game and 6.6 assists. Meanwhile, Beal shot 45% from the field and 30% from beyond the arc.
Washington failed to make the playoffs last season, finishing the regular season in 12th place in the Eastern Conference.
