Journalist Ben Jacobs has opened up on Harry Kane’s future amid the latest transfer talks.
According to The Sun, Kane is said to have his sights set on a move to Manchester United. With his contract set to expire next year, a transfer would enable Tottenham to profit from his sale rather than risk losing him as a free agent.
Real Madrid are also reportedly interested in acquiring the striker, particularly if Karim Benzema departs for Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly reluctant to sell Kane to a direct rival, preferring a move to a non-Premier League club. This could potentially involve Kane joining Los Blancos.
According to Jacobs, the situation surrounding Kane has not seen significant changes thus far. Despite some earlier optimism about a potential new contract, Levy remains steadfast in his approach and is prepared to let the England international leave the club.
