A shocking move at the deadline of the winter transfer saw Portuguese and Manchester City prolific player, Joao Cancelo move to the German giants on a loan deal, till the end of the campaign, with an option to buy at 70m.
Manchester City are prepared to loose the service of Cancelo permanently, but the Allianz Arena side not wanting to pay the total fee agreed upon in the loan deal, seems to be a barrier at the time.
Cancelo has been on an impressive form for couple of seasons now, solving the problem of Manchester City full-back, as he could play from either of the sides, hence a shock that city allowed him to leave on this loan.
He has made three outings in the German giant’s colors, and has recorded two assists to his name, which one can believe is a great way to start a new challenge, little wonder Bayern are in talks for a permanent deal.
Bayern Munich’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has said that it may be difficult to trigger their 70m purchase clause hence why they want to bring the price down.
Talks are ongoing between the parent club and his current home as Cancelo has settled really fast in Munich and seems to be having a good time in his career.
