Aymeric Laporte has taken to social media following Manchester City’s win over Copenhagen in the Champions League.
City celebrated a 5-0 victory in the UCL group stage on Wednesday, October 5. Erling Haaland scored a double, meanwhile, Riyad Mahrez and Julian Alvarez also got their names on the scoresheet. Davit Khocholava scored an own goal for Pep Guardiola’s side.
With the win, City are currently leading Group G with 3 wins in 3 games.
Following the game, Laporte took to Twitter and wrote: “Back in the starting XI, a clean sheet, the 3 points and the first spot of the group, what more could I ask ? (less cold & less rain please).”
