In the midst of an intense Premier League title race, Manchester City’s Aymeric Laporte has shared his thoughts on Arsenal’s chances of lifting the coveted trophy.

Speaking to the media, Laporte acknowledged the Gunners’ potential but expressed his hope that they don’t emerge victorious. “Consistency is very important, and we have been able to achieve that. What we are doing alongside Arsenal right now is fantastic. Although I hope they can slip against us and that we can get the win,” the defender stated.

Despite Arsenal’s recent struggles, Laporte recognizes their capability to bounce back and win their remaining games. He also heaped praise on Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, with whom he has worked in the past, saying, “He is a fantastic manager; I only have good words to say about him.”

With Arsenal currently at the top of the table, the title race is tighter than ever, leaving no room for error moving forward.

As Laporte rightly points out, Arsenal’s fate will play a crucial role in determining where the title ends up. The Gunners must focus on resetting and winning their remaining matches to have any chance of lifting the Premier League trophy.
