Manchester United and other top European teams have learned the transfer fee Atletico Madrid have placed on Joao Felix, according to reports.

Man United are one of the interested teams vying for the signature of Felix, who hasn’t played as much as he would have loved under Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid this season.

The former Benfica forward has performed brilliantly for Portugal in the ongoing Qatar World Cup and as a result, a host of European teams are looking at the possibility of signing him when the transfer window reopens.

Manchester United are viewed as one of the favourites to lure the forward, having parted was with Cristiano Ronaldo in November.

The Red Devils are expected to sign at least one attacking player in January and Felix, alongside Cody Gakpo and Memphis Depay have all been linked with a winter move to Old Trafford.

However, Erik ten Hag’s side may need to cough out more than the amount they paid to Ajax over the summer for the signing of Antony.

According to

The same report confirms that Felix’s agent, Jorge Mendes has held talks with Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich in a bid to find a new club for his client, whose relationship with Diego Simeone has deteriorated.

No official bid has been submitted to Atletico Madrid at the moment, but reports have suggested that transfer talks between the player’s camp and the interested teams have begun.
