Arthur Melo has confirmed that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old, who is currently on loan from Juventus, has been struggling with injuries which have kept him away from the pitch for a significant part of the season.
Despite being on the sidelines for most of the campaign, Melo has spoken positively about his experience at Liverpool, particularly about the support he received from manager Jurgen Klopp.
In an interview with GOAL, Melo expressed his desire to have more playing time before his departure from Liverpool. He stated that he would like to bid farewell to the club by being on the pitch for the remaining matches of the season.
Regardless of his future destination, Melo will be looking to make an impact and prove his worth in the upcoming season.
“Next season I see it with good eyes. It will be decisive in my career and I am working very well. I’m looking forward to showing this new version of Arthur,” he said.
“Hopefully I have an option to say goodbye in Liverpool by playing something, to say goodbye to my team-mates, the technical committee and the fans, who have been very good to me.”
