Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta Hints at Trossard’s Possible Starting Role Against Aston Villa

Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta has made some interesting remarks ahead of their upcoming Premier League match against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday. In an exclusive interview with Football.London, Arteta disclosed that Leandro Trossard could make his first start for the Gunners.

The Belgian winger was brought in from fellow Premier League team Brighton and Hove Albion during the January transfer window.

Trossard has made four substitute appearances for Arsenal in the Premier League so far, and has shown promise every time he has taken the pitch.

With Arsenal looking to bounce back from their recent defeat to Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium, Arteta will be looking for a winning combination. Trossard could be the wildcard that he is looking for, as the winger brings a fresh attacking threat to the team.

When asked if Trossard would be in the starting lineup, Arteta was positive: “He’s had an impact every time he’s been on the pitch so he’s an option.”

Trossard, who earns a reported £90,000-a-week according to The Daily Mail , will be keen to prove himself in his first Premier League start for the Gunners. Fans will be waiting eagerly to see if the 28-year-old will be given the nod in the crucial clash against Villa.
