Arsenal Football Club has been handed a significant boost in their pursuit of FC Porto attacker Pepe. The Brazilian forward has been in excellent form for his current side in recent seasons, and it appears that he is now ready for a move to a bigger league.

According to reports, several clubs have expressed interest in securing the signature of the talented attacker, and FC Porto is bracing itself for a potential sale. It is believed that the club recently turned down an offer worth 50 million euros for Pepe, but is reportedly holding out for his release clause of 75 million euros.

However, sources suggest that FC Porto needs to make sales of up to 50 million euros to balance their books, and selling Pepe could be one way of achieving that target. As a result, the club may consider accepting a lower fee to allow him to leave.

Reports, revealed that the Brazilian’s departure could be an attractive option for FC Porto, as it would help them achieve their financial objectives.

Arsenal will undoubtedly be monitoring the situation closely as they look to bolster their squad for the upcoming season. The Gunners have been linked with Pepe in the past and could look to reignite their interest in him with a potential move in the summer transfer window.

It remains to be seen if any other clubs will make a bid for Pepe, but it seems increasingly likely that he will be moving on from FC Porto in the near future.
