The Daily Telegraph journalist Sam Dean has provided an update on Arsenal’s transfer plans for January.
The Gunners’ star Gabriel Jesus is currently our of action due to a serious knee injury. He is expected to return to the first-team squad after three months of recovery.
Amid Jesus’ situation, Mikel Arteta has confirmed they will be looking to improve the squad during the January transfer window.
Gunners have been heavily linked with the move for Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhaylo Mudryk, however, they are yet to reach an agreement with the club after Chelsea’s involvement in the race.
According to the sports journalist, Arsenal want to sing both Mudryk and Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix for the second half of the season in their hopes for the Premier League title.
The attacking pair are reportedly ready for a new challenge and will be looking to leave their teams this winter.
