Arsenal is reportedly eyeing a potential move for LOSC Lille’s talented forward, Jonathan David, in the upcoming summer transfer window, as per reports from CalcioMercato.

The Canadian international has had a sensational campaign at Stade Pierre-Mauroy this season, netting 19 goals and providing four assists in 29 Ligue 1 appearances, which has inevitably attracted interest from some of Europe’s elite clubs, with Arsenal among the suitors.

According to CalcioMercato sources, Arsenal is keen to bolster its attacking options ahead of the new season and has identified David as a potential target. However, it is believed that the French side is willing to part ways with their prized asset in the summer transfer window, opening the door for a possible move.

Despite Arsenal’s interest, the report suggests that the North London side could face stiff competition from Serie A giants, AC Milan, who are also keeping tabs on the Canadian’s situation at Lille.
