Arsenal hires a ‘Tekkers Guru’ to coach attacking players on touch, shooting, and heading.

Hussein Isa has a strong football reputation, having played as a stand-in for Lionel Messi and representing England at futsal.

The young coach dubbed “Tekkers Guru,” has been hired by Arsenal to assist their attacking players going forward.

Isa is a former non-league attacking midfielder who spent time with Hashtag United recently. He began his career as a Tottenham trainee before moving on to work one-on-one with players at the Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace academies.

Aside from his playing abilities, he is also a well-respected modern-day coach who could give Arsenal an advantage.

The Gunners have lost striker Gabriel Jesus to injury, leaving them to rely on Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka, and Martin Odegaard for goals to keep their title hopes alive in the coming months.

According to The Athletic, Isa has since been appointed as the attacking-phase coach.

His work will involve both senior and leading academy players vying for a place in Mikel Arteta’s first-team squad.

The 34-year-old earned the nickname ‘Tekkers Guru’ after demonstrating his skills and free-kick taking ability online, where he gained a large community of followers and fans.

Arteta and his staff have taken note, and Isa is reportedly on his way to provide specialized assistance to Arsenal’s forward players.

He’ll concentrate on technical aspects like their touch, heading, and shooting.

However, an immediate impact is unlikely, as Isa, who has represented England at Futsal and even stood in for Lionel Messi during commercial shoots, is expected to begin work in the summer.

That won’t happen until Arsenal starts planning for the 2023/24 season.

Nonetheless, Isa could be drafted in before then to provide support. And if he’s good enough to fill in for Messi, Aguero, and Hazard, he’s certainly good enough for Arsenal!

Meanwhile, Arteta is looking for new players to bolster his frontline having reportedly reached an agreement with Shakhtar Donetsk for Mykhaylo Mudryk.
