In a bid to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming season, Arsenal Football Club is reportedly considering the sale of promising striker Folarin Balogun. The Gunners are actively seeking to offload players and generate funds for new signings, and Balogun’s departure appears to be on the cards.

Sky Sports’ reputable journalist, Dharmesh Sheth, has revealed that Arsenal is demanding a substantial fee of €50 million to part ways with the highly-talented 22-year-old forward. This valuation stems from Balogun’s outstanding performance during the previous season, where he excelled while on loan at French club Stade de Reims.

Throughout his spell in France, Balogun showcased his immense potential, notching an impressive 21 goals and contributing three assists across 37 appearances. Despite having a contract with Arsenal until 2025, it seems unlikely that he will remain at the Emirates Stadium, as the Gunners prioritize generating funds through player sales.

Various sources reports significant interest from both the Premier League and European clubs in securing Balogun’s services. Crystal Palace, in the English top flight, have emerged as potential suitors, while renowned European clubs such as AC Milan, Inter Milan, Napoli, and RB Leipzig are also weighing up a potential move for the promising Arsenal star.

At the age of just 22, Balogun represents an enticing prospect for potential suitors, as he still possesses ample room for growth and development. However, the €50 million asking price might prove to be a stumbling block, potentially dissuading several clubs from pursuing a transfer for the talented striker. Nonetheless, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to secure a deal that satisfies their financial demands while paving the way for Balogun’s next chapter in his footballing journey.
