Arsenal has encountered difficulties in recreating the cohesive style of play that allowed them to dominate opponents last year, primarily due to their struggles in scoring goals.

In recent times, Arsenal’s on-field performance has raised questions among fans and pundits alike. The integrated and fluid style of play that allowed the team to dismantle opponents seems to have eluded them, with their struggles in front of goal becoming increasingly apparent.

Numerous supporters have expressed their concerns, suggesting that Mikel Arteta should consider a change upfront. One name that has emerged in discussions is Dusan Vlahovic, and according to reports from Tutto Juve , Arsenal could make a move for the Serbian striker in the January transfer window.

Vlahovic’s history with Arsenal is interesting. In 2022, he was on the verge of joining the club, but he ultimately chose a move to Juventus, rejecting Arsenal’s advances. Now, with the benefit of hindsight, one might wonder whether that was the right decision.

Vlahovic did face challenges at Juventus, struggling initially to replicate the incredible form he displayed during his time at Fiorentina. However, he has gradually found his scoring touch, and there is a growing sense that he could be a valuable addition to Arsenal’s squad.

The Serbian striker is not the only name on Arsenal’s transfer shortlist. Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen are also reportedly admired by the club, indicating their determination to bolster their attacking options.

As the January transfer window approaches, Arsenal’s search for a striker is certainly heating up. Whether Vlahovic or one of the other names on their list will don the Arsenal jersey remains to be seen, but it’s clear that the club is actively exploring its options to address the goal-scoring concerns that have plagued them already.
