Arsenal have received a blow in their pursuit of Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay.
The Netherlands international has been linked with an exit from the La Liga side since last summer.
Gunners are among the clubs interested in the forward’s services, with the Premier League rivals Manchester United also reportedly eyeing a move for the players.
According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano’s latest report, Depay is now closer to joining Atletico Madrid. The players could also be open to joining Diego Simeone’s team.
