Leeds United, Southampton and Leicester City were relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2022/23 season.

On the final day of the 2022/23 campaign, Everton out on a fight and eventually finished 17th and will compete in the league for the 2023/24 season.

The Toffees and Arsenal, who were in the title race, however, they finished second, are the two teams to remain in the Premier League the longest.

The Gunners have been in the league for 98 consecutive seasons, meanwhile, Everton for 70.
