Egyptian Elneny has extended his time with the Gunners as he penned a new extension to run till June 2024.
Elneny who arrived Arsenal in 2016 is today the longest serving player at the club, he has made 155 appearances in all tournaments for the Gunners.
Elneny gas been in the sidelines since January due to a knee surgery, though he has successfully made five appearances in the league in this campaign.
The 30 year old’s contract was set to expire at the end of the season, but recent agreement between the club and player will see him at the club till the end of the next campaign.
In a bid for back up due to Elneny’s injury, Italian Jorgihno was pulled from Chelsea to join the league leaders in January.
He is happy to have signed a new contract as he took to his social handle to appreciate the club, calling Emirates his home.
