Sources suggest that both clubs are contemplating submitting formal proposals for the 22-year-old left-back at the conclusion of the current season, according to reports from Football Insider .

Wolverhampton Wanderers, however, seem steadfast in their reluctance to part ways with the player during the ongoing transfer window. Consequently, Arsenal and Liverpool are said to be strategically laying the groundwork for a possible move during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Ait-Nouri, the talented Algerian defender, has carved a niche for himself as a pivotal figure in the Wolves’ defensive lineup. His commendable performances in the highly competitive Premier League have not gone unnoticed, prompting keen interest from both Arsenal and Liverpool.

For Arsenal, the need for additional depth in the left-back position is apparent, and Ait-Nouri emerges as a potential contender to vie for the starting spot alongside Oleksandr Zinchenko. Meanwhile, Liverpool, eyeing a reliable alternative to Andrew Robertson, sees the 22-year-old defender as a promising, long-term prospect.

Despite the presence of players like Nuno Tavares at Arsenal and Kostas Tsimikas at Liverpool, both are considered secondary options. Tavares, currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, seems to lack a future at Arsenal, while Tsimikas, though useful, has shown inconsistency for Liverpool. Consequently, there is a perceived need for both clubs to secure a more dependable defensive presence.

Given Ait-Nouri’s age of 22, there is ample room for further development through coaching and experience. The prospect of a move to prestigious clubs like Arsenal or Liverpool is undoubtedly an enticing proposition for the talented full-back.
