Arsenal alongside Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in landing Brighton’s Alexis McAlister
Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool have reportedly set their sights on Brighton’s midfielder, Alexis Mac Allister, with the Gunners said to be leading the chase for the Argentine’s signature.
TyC Sports journalist, César Luis Merlo, has confirmed the North London outfit’s ‘specific interest in signing’ the 23-year-old, who has impressed during his time at the AMEX Stadium.
Merlo has also revealed that two of the aforementioned clubs are in the process of negotiating a deal with Brighton and Hove Albion for Mac Allister’s services, but it remains unclear whether Arsenal is among them.
Mac Allister joined Brighton in 2019 from Argentine club, Argentinos Juniors, but was immediately loaned back to the South American side before enjoying a temporary stint with Boca Juniors the following year.
This season, he has been a regular fixture in Roberto De Zerbi squad, appearing in 24 Premier League matches and scoring eight goals, while also contributing one assist.
