Antonio Conte has shared his high praise for Pape Matar Sarr after the latest friendly match with Nice.
Spurs played the friendly with the French side on December 21, 2022. The two teams played a 1 – 1 draw, with Matt Doherty and Antoine Mendy becoming the goalscorers of the meeting.
Sarr was brought to game during the second half, replacing the midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
After the game, Conte admitted he was impressed by the youngster’s performance. He told the club’s official website: “Sarr, I liked him a lot with the way he got into the pitch.”
