Alexis Sanchez has taken to Instagram to send a heartfelt message to Mesut Ozil following his announcement of retirement from football

Mesut Ozil announced on Wednesday his retirement from football at the age of 34. The midfielder has had an impressive career having played for Real Madrid as well as Arsenal.
Ozil has made overall 645 appearances in which he has scored 114 goals and provided 222 assists.
Following Ozil’s announcement, Sanchez took to Instagram and wrote: “We really understood each other my friend Mesut @m10_official Wishing you the best in your next chapter ⚽️😎.”
