Albert Sambi Lokonga has taken to Instagram to reveal the real reason why he is missing Arsenal pre-season.
The Gunners have traveled to Germany for their pre-season game against Nurnberg on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
Lokonga isn’t part of the squad due to having suffered an injury.
“Due to a small muscular injury, l’ll sadly not be part of the summer camp with the team in Germany. I’m focus now on my recovery to prepare the season and be ready to help the team at my fullest capacity,” said the player on Instagram.
There have been rumours linking Lokonga with a move from Arsenal during this summer transfer window.
