Rabiot’s contract with Juventus is set to expire 2024 and with the Old Lady yet to hand him a renewal paper, uncertainty now cloud the player gradually.

With Paul Pogba back in the team after leaving Manchester United as a free agent, Rabiot is aware he may no more be as important as he used to be.

Speaking on his future after a superb start to the 2022 Qatar Fifa World Cup, Rabiot said to Repubblica; “The contract extension with Juventus? I don’t know: it’s not the time to talk about it.

“These performance help me to go elsewhere, but also to discuss the renewal with Juventus. I’m focused on the World Cup as of now.”

Rabiot netted a fine header against their opening game opponent Australia and as well provided an assist to make his fine start into the current World Cup campaign.

France now sitting at the top of the Group D will take on Denmark on their encounter as they look to finish at the top place.
