Aaron Ramsdale has taken to Twitter to react to England World Cup call-up.
Ramsdale was one of the three Arsenal players that were included in Gareth Southgate’s England World Cup squad as it was revealed on Thursday.
The Three Lions will begin their World Cup campaign with a game against Iran on November 21. They are in the same group as USA and Wales.
Following the squad announcement, Ramsdale took to Twitter to react.
“The World Cup is a dream for any boy – none more so than me from Stoke on Trent. I’ve worked my whole life to get here after watching so many tournaments and seeing players compete. It is such a privilege to be selected for this country,” wrote the Gunners goalkeeper.
“Now it’s time to graft even more.”
