Spaniard Rafael Nadal became the second tennis player in history after Swiss legend Roger Federer, who spent 900 weeks in a row in the Top-100 of the ATP rankings

The Spaniard entered the ATP Top-100 rankings in April 2003 for the first time, when he was 16 years old. Since April 2005, Nadal hasn’t left the Top-10 of the ATP rankings.

The leader in terms of the length of continuous stay in the top 100 is Roger Federer, who has not dropped out of the top 100 for 1084 weeks, since February 2000.

Nadal finished this season in the second place in the world rankings.

  1. Roger Federer (Switzerland) – 1084 weeks,
  2. Rafael Nadal (Spain) – 900 weeks,
  3. Jimmy Connors (USA) – 889 weeks,
  4. Feliciano Lopez (Spain) – 877 weeks,
  5. David Ferrer (Spain) – 857 weeks.
