ESSA (European Sports Security Association) is a nonprofit organization that investigates the betting market and notifies managing sports organizations and relevant authorities of suspicious financial flows in gambling in order to tackle match-fixing.

The association works only with licensed bookmakers so that the materials of the cases could be investigated by state authorities, e.g. regulators.
ESSA works with major bookmakers and leading sports organizations, including FIFA, the International Olympic Committee, Gibraltar and the UK Gambling Commission and many others.
