Zenit St. Petersburg recorded an excellent win against Mordovia Saransk last time out to keep up their title change. Andre Villas Boas’s men know they must win all of their remaining games to have any chance of winning the title and hope CSKA Moscow slip up. Additionally, Champions League qualification is an essential part of the Zenit model so it is imperative that they achieve this.
Lokomotiv Moscow are looking to cement themselves a Europa League spot this season in what has been an unspectacular campaign since the turn of the year. They have lost their last three which has given local rivals Spartak Moscow, who inflicted one of those three defeats, a great chance of snatching the Europa League spot from the Railwaymen.
Zenit are formidable going forward and are the league’s top scorers with 57 goals. They also have both Hulk and Artem Dzyuba in the top five of the goalscoring charts. Overall, I believe this forward line will make the most of Lokomotiv’s loss of form and confidence by scoring plenty of goals.
