Wolves not giving anything away
In midweek Wolves finished with their second 0-0 draw in a week, this time against Burnley. Wolves have kept three clean sheets in a row but have only scored one goal in these games.
Wolves have the tightest defence in the league outside of the top three, however, goals have been hard to come by with only Norwich and Tottenham scoring less than Wolves.
Wolves’ defensive statistics are impressive but with respect to Burnley and Norwich, they are not Liverpool. In fact, Wolves have not faced any of the top three until now so it will be interesting to see how they cope with Liverpool given that they also face Manchester City and Chelsea before Christmas.

Free scoring Liverpool
After the 4-1 demolition of their Merseyside rivals, Everton, Liverpool have now scored four goals three Premier League matches in a row, conceding just one goal in this run.
Ex-Wolves marksman Diogo Jota scored in his third league match in a row and overtook Sadio Mane to be the third top league scorer with eight goals.
Mohamed Salah scored a brace to take his total up to 13. Liverpool themselves now average over three goals per game and are well on course to score over 100 goals if their form keeps up.
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Liverpool predictions
Given Wolves’ struggles in front of goal against the likes of Norwich and Burnley it is difficult to see them adding a load of goals in this one.
However, we believe that they can keep things tight, and Liverpool won’t have as much joy as they’ve had in previous games. Though we believe Liverpool will win this match, Liverpool at 2/5 away from home is short and we prefer backing Liverpool to win with under 2.5 goals in the match.
Given his current goalscoring run and that he returns to his old stomping grounds we believe Jota will add to his goalscoring run and predict he will score at any time.
