Wolves back in the win column
A Romain Saiss goal just before half-time secured all three points as Wolves beat Brighton in midweek.
After two 1-0 losses to the top two sides, Wolves got back to winning ways showing that despite their lack of goals they are one of the better sides in the league.
However, they again face another tough match as they face third placed Chelsea in their third match against the league’s top three out of four.

Two points dropped
The gap between Chelsea and Manchester City widened to four points after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Everton on Thursday night.
Everton held Chelsea at bay until Mount’s 70th minute opener, however, just four minutes later youngster, Jarrad Branthwaite equalised and despite Chelsea having 80% possession and taking 23 goal attempts the points were shared.
Chelsea have been inconsistent of late and are starting to fall away from Man City and Liverpool. They both beat Wolves 1-0 recently; Chelsea will need to do at least the same to keep the pressure on.
Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea predictions
Just like in Wolves’ previous games against the top two sides, we expect Wolves to stifle the game and keep things close. Wolves with 13 goals are the lowest league scorers apart from Norwich, showing that hitting the back of the net is not their forte.
However, Wolves are very strong defensively with only the top three sides conceding less goals than their 14. Just like Wolves’ recent games we also expect there to be under 2.5 goals in this one.
We believe Chelsea will have the cutting edge in this one, but Wolves will certainly make it tough for them, just like their title rivals have done in recent weeks we predict Chelsea will also win 1-0.
