Hammers winless in three
After West Ham’s midweek home draw against Brighton, the Hammers are now winless in their last three, but still take up fourth position. However, Arsenal could leapfrog them if they beat Manchester United on Thursday night.
West Ham led from the fifth minute thanks to Tomas Soucek’s goal but an 89th minute equaliser from Neal Maupay meant the points were shared.
The Hammers now face their second title challenger in the space of six days. With a seven-point gap between West Ham and third placed Liverpool, West Ham are the best of the rest, but for how long?

Chelsea back to winning ways
After dropped points on Sunday against Manchester United, Chelsea rebounded with a 2-1 away win over Watford. Chelsea are now unbeaten in eight Premier League matches and their last 12 in all competitions.
However, Watford didn’t make it easy for the league leaders with the winning goal coming 18 minutes from time from substitute, Hakim Ziyech.
Chelsea continues to head off their rivals but know they face a stern test against West Ham that they must pass.
West Ham United vs Chelsea predictions
This London derby contested between two of the top four should be an entertaining match to start the weekend off.
We predict there will be goals due to the majority of both teams’ matches breaking the over 2.5 goals barrier. We believe at over 2.5 goals will also occur here.
West Ham are in a little bit of a mini slump, while we don’t believe this is the start of the Hammers sliding down the table, we believe given the current form of both sides that Chelsea will be too strong, and that Chelsea will win.
