These two have made excellent starts to their respective seasons with Manchester City sitting in second whilst Watford are fourth.

Watford are one of only three teams yet to suffer a Premier League defeat and this will give them huge confidence going into their match against title hopefuls Manchester City.

The Hornets have been particularly good at the back recently with three clean sheets in their last three top flight matches. The three league goals they have conceded so far this campaign all came in their opening day draw with Liverpool. In terms of the final third, compared to the other sides in the top four, they have not been great. However, their total of nine goals in five competitive outings is more than admirable.

Despite the positives, one thing that will concern manager Marco Silva is his side’s home form which has seen them fail to win any of their three competitive outings so far – keeping just one clean sheet in the process. Having said that, they have found the back of the net five times in their three matches at Vicarage Road.

Manchester City have been in sublime form this season with no competitive defeats so far and three wins in their last three outings.

Pep Guardiola’s side have been sensational in the final third recently with 11 goals in those aforementioned three victories. Additionally, they have managed to turn things around at the back – demonstrated by the fact they have kept clean sheets in their last two games.

The Citizens have a 100% record on their travels so far this campaign, scoring eight goals and conceding just one in the process.

Even though Watford are on a great run at the moment, I think they will come unstuck against a Manchester City side who seem to have enough firepower to blow most teams away. Manchester City to Win and Over 3.5 Goals Total is priced at 9/5.
