Villarreal – Valencia. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
This will be my last tip in 2015. Spain has never seen matches this late in the year, as far as I remember. December 31, 3pm GMT, Villarreal – Valencia. This clash is called the “Derby de la Comunitat,” as the two have been the most competitive teams of the Valencian Community.
Gary Neville hasn’t been able to change anything in Valencia. The team doesn’t look convincing. It’s hard to predict anything here. This is one of those rare times when Villarreal are considered as the undisputed favourite. Valencia are not that easy. We remember how they won 5-1 against Celta with Nuno still as head coach. I think Neville understands that now an open play against Villarreal is suicide. I think Valencia will play pragmatically and defensively and will rely on counter attacks. The main events will take place in the second half. I will choose my favourite bet here. The highest scoring half will be the second one with 2.10 odds at William HIll.
