Regardless, Inter will now look to win the opening two rounds in three consecutive seasons for the first time since 1955!

Verona are keen not to lose the second game in a row at the start of the new season. Everything is possible in football. If Verona are capable of playing a deep defensive strategy and close the gaps for Inter, they might avoid defeat.
On the other hand, Inter have sold Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea and are also missing Sanchez Eriksen and Gagliardini through injury. Despite their opening day win, Inter are not the force they were last season and could suffer from such absences.
