Van Barneveld vs Smith, Lewis vs Wright. Laure James’ prediction
Raymond van Barneveld’s phenomenal win over Michael van Gerwen has boosted his confidence immeasurably, and the Dutch Master will go into tonight’s quarter-final against Michael Smith on top of the world.
He won’t let it show, though. His battles are psychological and he will have to hold focus, as well as his throw, against young gun, Smith.
We also fancy two-time world champion, Adrian Lewis, to emerge triumphant over Peter Wright, but not by much. It’s going to be a tight tussle of tungsten!
William Hill are offering 3.30 for a double bundle on both RVB and Lewis.
