Ural Yekaterinburg – Spartak Moscow. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
Straight away looking at this fixture it is BTTS that stands out. Ural are always motivated against the teams from Moscow, especially Spartak. The visitors have got a lot of fans in Yekaterinburg too, so the atmosphere at the stadium will be great. Great is something Ural haven’t been recently, while Spartak come into this game in good form having won two Moscow derbies against Lokomotiv and Dinamo, keeping clean sheets in both.
A third clean sheet may be beyond the Moscow teams’ reach here though. In their last game Dinamo had enough chances and Spartak were pretty lucky not to concede. And remember, Ural won against Spartak in Moscow. Knowing how important this match is for Ural President Grigory Ivanov, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he doubled his players win bonus.
At the same time, Spartak have Promes and Ze Luis, who have shown this season that they are more than capable of scoring goals. The Dutchman wants to become the top scorer in the division, and Spartak need to win this to continue fighting for the Europa League spot. When we add all of this up it should make for an open, attack minded game. If you are bold enough, you could also back BTTS and over 2.5 goals.
