Tottenham’s Europa League group stage adventure ends with Thursday’s meeting with Monaco. Spurs are already through and playing only for top spot while the Ligue 1 side must better Anderlecht’s result to progress. Mauricio Pochettino is going to rest Harry Kane, but top of the group brings big advantages so can he afford to?
Monaco are not pushovers. And they’re set up to counter-attack which will probably help them as visitors. Needing to win is great motivation but I don’t think it will get them over the line. William Hill are offering both teams to score and Spurs to win, at 4.0.
