Tom Tomsk v Ufa Betting Tip
Both of these sides are tipped to be in a relegation battle this season and this is a very early season defining fixture.
Siberian side Tom Tomsk did incredibly well to secure a 2-2 draw away at Lokomotiv after being 2-0 down and showed that they can score goals when required. Perhaps their defence, which is generally seen as solid, was called a bit into question but I think that will sort itself out in time for this match, especially with this being their first home fixture of the season.
After losing superstar Oleksandr Zinchenko to Manchester City in the summer, Ufa arguably have one of the worst squads in the league and they lack any sort of player who can grab the game by the scruff of the neck – a relegation battle certainly beckons for the Bashkortostan side. Although they did incredibly well to secure a 0-0 draw at home against Zenit last time out, I think all will return to normal here – just like their poor display against Ural on opening weekend.
I doubt this will be the most exciting game and cannot I imagine many goals or chances. Overall, I would back Tom to win as their solid defence should come to the fore at home whilst I think Lokomotiv will struggle to put any meaningful attacks together. The value is good for a home win at 27/20.
