Granada – Barcelona. Tancredi Palmeri’s prediction
There shouldn’t be any doubt over Barcelona here: in last five games they’ve scored 21 goals and conceded none. And it’s not a coincidence that this has been the case in the last five. Since they’ve had no other option but to win every game they have eradicated all mistakes. The simple fact is that if Barcelona are focused, there seems to be no way of stopping them.
But, there is a variable: the ‘maletinas’, literally the suitcases, which means the process – not forbidden – where big clubs financially reward smaller clubs in order to motivate them in games that were otherwise meaningless. Granada, who are already assured of their stay in La Liga, could have this extra motivation. Although against the might of the Catalan side this still probably won’t be enough. It may help the hosts to score though: and the odds on both teams scoring at 1.90 from William Hill look good. Barcelona will go forward from minute one, and they will surely score; however, there could be plenty of opportunities for Granada on the counter and they too can find the net here.
