Spartak – Krylia Sovetov. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
Krylia Sovetov are good now, there’s no doubt about that. They’ve just beat CSKA in Moscow, and then had a 0-0 draw with Amkar Perm. They haven’t yet conceded in 2 games in a row. According to Krylia’s striker Sergey Kornilenko, the main task for the team is not to concede goals.
But Spartak were even better against Krasnodar and Rubin. The latter two play a more attacking style than Krylia, but Spartak are in good shape. It’s a pity for them that the winter break comes just as they gained some confidence. They have nothing to do but win. Spartak have lost too many points at home. And their opponent isn’t the strongest one.
Maybe Ze Luis will make a breakthrough; he’s enjoyed a lot of goal scoring chances in every game. Yura Movsisyan’s recovered from injury. There are no injured players left. I think that Spartak won’t limit themselves to just one goal. They are likely to score at least two. That’s why you should bet on Spartak total goals over 1.5. It’s high time Krylia conceded some goals. Their opponents had lots of chances, but their goalkeeper Loriya has been in very good form.
