I am going with Emery’s team to win here. Everyone knows just how good they are at home. Yes, they had recent drawbacks, when playing at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, losing to Real Sociedad in La Liga and Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League. But the team from Donbass has just had a very difficult, physically taxing match against Dinamo Kiev. With the match ending up in a brawl, many emotions were left there and Shakhtar may be fatigued.
At the same time, Emery was able to rest several of his key players over the weekend, including his leaders, and therefore they are all fresh and ready for this semi-final. Couple this fact with how good they usually are at home and a very strong case indeed can be made for backing the home side here tonight.
