Russia – Lithuania. Valeri Karpin’s prediction
It’s hard to predict the results in friendly games, because we don’t know what aims the managers are seeking. We don’t know if they want just to win or to see some reserve players on the field or to try some new tactics…
But if Leonid Slutsky fields his best players, I can’t see any chances for Lithuania. They were poor in qualification matches, especially away. Russia are playing at home, so they must beat Lithuania even with their second team.
I expect only Russia to score in the upcoming game.
