Age is not a hurdle for Federer
Roger Federer became the oldest player at 39-years-old to reach the fourth round since 1975. The former world number one was off to a slow start against Frenchman Adrian Mannarino but has improved and grown in confidence from match to match.
The Swiss had some difficulties in his opening match against Mannarino who retired because of an injury with the score level at two sets all. Roger was very solid against Gasquet playing some of his best tennis this week.
Federer played against homeboy Cameron Norrie in the third round and despite losing a set and the pressure of the home crowd, his experience helped him cross over the finish line by winning the match 3-1. Federer is still a force to be reckoned with despite his age.

The eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer has looked unbeatable in his favorite tournament and the Swiss will make sure he puts all his expertise to overcome a surging Sonego.
The Italian has the right weapons to be considered as a big threat on grass. His first serve and lethal forehand have been the reason why he survived in Wimbledon so far and he can’t show any setbacks against Federer.
With the incredible form, both these players have shown during the first week, we think they will both win at least a set in the match.
