Real Sociedad – Real Madrid. Konstantin Genich’s prediction
Real Madrid have to take three points here if they want to stay in the title race. But playing in San Sebastian is never an easy task: as we remember, both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid dropped points there this season.
Sociedad have nothing to fight for now, but this won’t hinder the Basques dislike for any of the capital-city teams. With this in mind it’s hard to see them not being motivated against Real Madrid. Eusebio Sacristan Mena is a former Barcelona man, so he will definitely be looking to get his players ready for a fight against Zidane’s team.
They will have a tough game, but I can’t see Real Madrid leaving the pitch without having scored a goal, although we have to keep mind the fact that they have struggled somewhat on their travels this season. And Real Sociedad will show no fear when it comes to going forward and trying to score. All this points to goals here. No Ronaldo and Benzema for Madrid, but Lucas Vasquez, Jese and Bale as replacements still offer vast attacking quality. The bet to be on is over 2.5 goals. The odds are not too high, but I can’t see anything but goals in this one.
