In the Champions League/European Cup, Galatasaray have reached the quarter-finals five times the last one being in 2012 and once to the semi-finals in 1989. They lost last season’s league title on goal difference to Besiktas.
Fatih Terim’s side is on an eight-match winning streak. The Former national coach will hope his team can maintain that form in the first leg of the Champions League qualification clash against PSV and make it to the group stages.
