Partizani Tirana v FC Krasnodar Betting Tip

After the 4-0 thrashing by Krasnodar in the first leg this is merely a formality. The Albanians will have to score at least fours goals without reply to have a chance of going through and that is incredibly unlikely.

Partizani were battered in their first leg against Krasnodar and all that is really left for them play for in this match is pride. With no domestic fixtures in Albania until September, it is hard to judge what kind of form Adolfo Sormani’s side are in right now.

Krasnodar are looking like serious title contenders so far in these early stages of the Russian Premier League season. Many thought their real test would be when they faced fellow crown challengers CSKA Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg, however, they suffered a 2-0 defeat at Spartak Moscow last weekend, who themselves are now top of the pile.

However, Oleg Kononov’s side will still believe they have a great change of claiming their maiden Russian title since their foundation in 2008.

This stutter at the weekend should not influence their performance in this match. Partizani are a far poorer opponent than most, if not all, Russian Premier League sides, as demonstrated by their 4-0 thrashing by the Bulls.

Even if Krasnodar pick a weakened team to go to Tirana, they should still be putting a few goals away. The bet to go for here is a Krasnodar win and over 2.5 goals total at 3/2. This allows for a freak goal by Partizani whilst paying nicely on a very likely outcome.
