Paris Saint Germain back to winning ways at hoe
For the second year running PSG have qualified to the semi-final of the Champions League. They are the first French team to do so since 1991. PSG won their last match in the league against Metz and Kylian Mbappe scored twice but the French International was limped off due to a muscle injury and the Parisian club is in a race against time to make him fit for Wednesday.
In five home games so far in the Champions League this season, PSG have lost two won two, and drew one. They have scored 21 goals in ten matches and conceded 11. PSG are in good form winning five of their last six games in all competitions. They haven’t been doing well at the Parc des Princes lately losing three of their last six outings but winning the last two will get their confidence back.
Manchester City eying a treble
The visitors have reached their second semi-final in their history but are still looking for their first final appearance. During the weekend they won the EFL Cup by beating Tottenham 1-0. They lost the chance for a quadruple as they were ousted by Chelsea from the FA Cup semi-final last week. They still have the CL and the Premier League to play for although the latter is within reach.
The Citizens are the only team left in the Champions League who are unbeaten. They have won nine matches in ten and are undefeated in nine away Champions League matches. They are on the brink of making history as no English team has registered 10+ wins in one season since the new Champions League format was introduced in 2003/4.

Although Manchester City have seven clean sheets, they conceded in their last two matches against Dortmund in the Quarter-Finals. It is interesting to note that in addition to all the stats we saw earlier, both teams have failed to score in just one match out of ten.
For PSG it will be a significant loss if Mabppe is not fit to play. His eight goals were a key factor for the Parisian outfit to reach the Semi-Finals and it will be hard for coach Pocchetino to replace him.
We think as in almost all of these teams’ matches two or more goals will be scored.
