Novak Djokovic v Jo-Wilfried Tsonga – Anna Chakvetadze’s Betting Tip
Regarding Novak Djokovic it is difficult to say anything. He has had two matches, one good and the other one not so good. However, it is clear who the favourite is here and, let’s face it, it’s always very hard to dismiss a player of Djokovic’s quality and it’s fair to say that the Serbian will very likely win this contest and probably win it well.
In beating both Kevin Anderson and Jack Sock in straight sets, Tsonga has played well himself here. However, he will not have enough to force Djokovic into a fight and I doubt the Frenchman can do anything to oppose the might of the world number one.
The Serb simply needs to put Tsonga on his backhand and there is nothing he will be able to do. I would compare Tsonga with Ana Ivanovic. Both of them have an excellent forehand but have somewhat of a hole on the left hand side. This makes it very difficult for them when coming up against the very tip players. On top of this, Djokovic’s movement is superior and, as is often the case, he will give nothing away.
All in all, a fairly routine Djokovic victory is expected and thus backing the Serbian to get the job done in three sets is the way to go.
