Heroic performance in midweek

In Tuesday’s match, Newcastle drew 1-1 with Norwich and despite being down to ten men from the ninth minute due to Ciaran Clark’s needless sending off, the Magpies were unlucky not to take all three points.

Players such as the much-maligned Joelinton and early substitute Federico Fernandez put in magnificent shifts, and it looked like Callum Wilson’s 61st minute penalty would be enough.

Burnley are unbeaten in four games now with their last three being draws. Despite this, Burnley are now in the relegation zone.
